As I’ve shared before, Cam & I have known each other since we were kids. I love to hear stories of people who share the same! Keegan & Sara have also known each other since they were kids! Sara was first friends with Keegan’s sister. He assured us that it was not “love at first sight” for these two. But as they got older, they got to be friends. An argument separated them for a while, but then, in high school, they both realized how much they loved one another. And things got good. Really good!

Keegan proposed to Sara on a trip to Nova Scotia this summer. After having the ring for a couple of months, he decided this trip was going to be a perfect time. (Keegan hid the ring on a shelf that Sara could not reach!) Sara packed their bag and after she was finished, Keegan snuck the ring box under their clothes. Everything went smoothly, their luggage made it through without a hitch!

They took a day trip up to Peggy’s Cove to tour around. Sara was none the wiser, as they wandered around taking in the beauty of the cove. Keegan sought out the perfect spot, before getting down on one knee. Sara told us that, in hindsight, she should’ve noticed the oversized box shape his leg had taken on. Something she only realized after looking back through the photos leading up to the big moment!

Keegan & Sara, we had so much fun with you guys! Cam & I loved hearing about your love story. It warms my heart that people still meet their true love when they are only kids! We wish you all the best in the wedding planning to come for the next year!
