CONGRATULATIONS!! You’re engaged!!!

 

As soon as that ring hits your finger excitement overtakes you both, and you can’t help sharing the news with the world! You’re engaged!!!! Visits to your parents. Phone or FaceTime calls to grandparents. Texts, emails, squealing phone calls and surprise visits to friends. Pictures posted on social media, relationship status is changed- the really important stuff! Later the same day (for the bride at least), you will dive into the wonderful world of wedding planning. As early as one day in, you can feel overwhelmed with all the decisions that need to be made. There is a LOT!

 

We want to give you a hand in some of your planning! Cam & I have been to our fair share of weddings, however, we cannot claim to be experts on selecting the best type of cake. Or which dress silhouette will be the best for your body type. Which type of flowers may be best for your budget. BUT we can speak to a topic that will play a big part in your wedding day, and also the years to follow- the wedding photography.

 

So, where do you begin?

 

Selecting your wedding vendors can be a very daunting task. Some vendor lists are quite extensive, and we know that photographers fall into that category. How do you choose? Who do you choose? What kinds of questions should you be asking them? In an effort to help you, Cam and I have channelled our inner David Letterman and compiled a top 10 list. We would love if your wedding day includes us, but ultimately our goal is that you find the best photographer for you! If that photography team is us, that is awesome! If that is someone else, that is great too! Regina has a number of excellent photographers, and we want you to find the one that best suits your needs. Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, so we encourage you to be confident and comfortable with your choice.
