Proposals, I believe, can be likened to snowflakes. Each proposal is unique and beautiful in its own way. And it will mean different things to different people. Mitch & Latasha were recently engaged and are now planning their wedding for 2020. Here is a little glimpse into their engagement story.

Mitch planned a day trip to Moose Jaw for Latasha. She enjoys walking up and down the shops on Main Street, so they spent time wandering in and out of the shops. For lunch, Mitch packed a picnic that included sandwiches from Latasha’s favourite place in downtown Regina. They stopped at a nice spot in the park to have their picnic lunch. As an added surprise, he brought along a box of Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans. Latasha grew up loving Harry Potter (yes, girl!!), so this was an exciting addition for her. They sat on the ground, trying each flavour- rightfully spitting out the vomit and earwax flavoured ones!

As they munched on their jelly beans, the disgusting ones causing them to laugh hysterically, Mitch stopped. He looked at Latasha and said, “Can I tell you all of the reasons why I love you?” Latasha enthusiastically agreed. Mitch revealed a number of little hearts, each containing a reason why he loved her. He started to read them, one by one. “You’re funny.” You’re beautiful.” Mitch listed over 30 reasons why he loved Latasha. He got down to the last heart and handed it to her. Latasha looked down at the last heart which read, “Will you marry me?” Both Mitch & Latasha, overcome with emotion, had tears streaming down their faces. Mitch pulled the ring out of his pocket, and Latasha managed to squeak out, “Of course!”

Mitch & Latasha, thank you for allowing Cam & I to capture your love. We loved the opportunity to get to know more about your story as a couple, and hear about the hopes and dreams for your wedding day! Thank you for sharing your story with us, and entrusting us to capture a piece of it for you. You were both so much fun to work with, and honestly, if the other jobs don’t work out, modelling could be an option to explore! We can’t wait to hear more about those wedding plans for your big day!

xoxo

Courtney & Cam
