Cam & I often talk about how blessed we are to do what we do. Our job as photographers is a pretty amazing one. We have the opportunity to capture some pivotal milestones in the lives of our clients. For Cole & Alisha, in the last two years we have captured their engagement and wedding. Now, we have the opportunity to capture their maternity session, as they prepare for their first child due this December!

It is such a joy for us to catch up with our past CLP couples. Honestly, it is just like catching up with old friends that we haven’t seen in a while! I love hearing about the highlights of their last year of marriage. Seeing reminders of how much they love each other, but seeing how their love changes and grows year after year. Oh, that last part is one of my most favourite things!

Cole & Alisha, thank you for entrusting us with these special moments in your lives! We cannot be more excited for you as your titles change to ‘mommy’ & ‘daddy’. But never forget your first love for one another. For your children, allowing them to see your love continue to blossom will be one of the greatest gifts you can give them.

P.S. If you are stuck for baby names (and if I get a vote) I feel Dwight, Jim, Jimothy, Michael, Stanley, Kevin or Oscar are all viable options for your little man. Even to keep in the mix as a middle or nickname… I cannot wait to meet this little Mr. later this year!
