When planning an outdoor wedding, there is so much to consider. The main thing being an alternative for the location if the weather doesn’t cooperate. It couldn’t have been a more perfect day for Brian & Jacey’s wedding. The ceremony and reception were held at the Big Red Barn at Sherwood Forest, just outside of Regina. The sun was shining, with a steady breeze to keep everyone cool, and (most importantly) to help keep the mosquitos at bay.
The love between Brian & Jacey is so evident in the way they look at one another, even at the mention of the other person they both smile widely. As Jacey got her hair done, she told us she chose the style because Brian liked when she did her hair with a braid across the front. Brian had recently told her that he still got butterflies in his stomach when he saw her hair done that way. Isn’t that the sweetest thing you’ve ever heard? Brian stood with his back to the aisle as Jacey walked up for the ceremony, and when he was given the ‘ok’ to turn around to see her, the look on his face, oh – amazing! That was the face of a man BLOWN AWAY by the beautiful bride walking toward him. Brian & Jacey had an amazing first day together as husband and wife, and I was so honoured to be able to capture it for them.
Brian & Jacey, thank you so much for allowing Courtney Liske Photography to be a part of your wedding day. We had so much fun with you and your wedding party. I hope you have an amazing honeymoon (to wherever that may end up being!), and I can’t wait for you to see the rest of the images from your wedding day!
The pictures are great. Jacey looked so pretty and Brian so handsome. We are Jacey’s Grandparents and so proud of her.
