This past week, I had the pleasure to do a bridal session with Becky at the Regina RCMP Heritage Centre. We had such a great time together! Becky was actually married this past Saturday, but in the interest of maintaining the mystery for her groom-to-be, I have been holding off on posting a sneak peek until now!
Becky’s fiancee- well, now husband!- is an RCMP officer, and they had really wanted to be married in the RCMP chapel. Unfortunately, the venue wasn’t quite big enough to accommodate all of their guests, so they were married in the town where her husband is stationed. Because they wouldn’t have enough time to make it into Regina for photos the day of the wedding, we scheduled a bridal session the week of the wedding to be able to incorporate the RCMP’ness’ into some wedding photos! Fortunately, we were able to get in and do some photos in the beautiful chapel- the stained glass depicting the RCMP officers was amazing, such a beautiful space! We wandered around the RCMP grounds on a rainy afternoon, and were able to capture some really great images. I really enjoyed learning about the history and customs of the RCMP as we went- Becky is going to be an excellent ‘Mrs. Mountie’! She answered all of my many, many, many questions about the recruits we saw constantly rushing by, the buildings we went into, the outfits they wear- everything!
Congratulations, Becky! I hope your day was absolutely amazing- I have no doubt you were an absolutely beautiful bride! All the best to you and your husband as you begin your journey together as Mr. and Mrs. Mountie!
Gorgeous wedding pictures. Thanks for letting my little sis and her now husband get the pictures done, amazing job.
Thank you, Steve! I had such a fun time working with Becky! -Courtney
